Jeje Lalpekhlua Is Getting Married




Mizo Footballer Jeje Lalpekhlua and Joysie Renthlei are getting married. The couple is getting a church wedding at Jeje's hometown Hnahthial in southern Mizoram. 



The famed Mizo striker is currently taking a layoff from football owing to an injury, but he has taken this time off to cement his long term relationship with his long time love interest Joysie, a homeopathist from Tuikual Borough Aizawl. 





Following their engagement announcement, fans in Mizoram went to social media to congratulate the pair and wish them a happy life. The news comes as a pleasant surprise to many in Mizoram, since it is the second Mizo celebrity engagement announcement of the year, following the announcement of Mizo gospel singer Hlimhlimi and her partner Zothana on social media just a week ago, a video of which went viral. 

Knowing his imminent retirement from sports, Jeje has expanded his career and has been opening various enterprises in his native state of Mizoram in recent years. According to Tapchhak Titi, he recently constructed a hotel in Hnahthial, opened a huge two-wheeler dealership, and has started his own logistics firm named "Jeje Transport."

Apart from football, Jeje is an avid Badminton enthusiast,.He was recently spotted playing for Mizoram's top badminton team, Ralte Villa, in a men's double event, where he and his team achieved great heights. 

Jeje and Joysie are set to marry on March 18, 2022, at Hnahthial Model Veng Baptist Church.
