March.08.2020 Aizawl: Chelsea Official Mizoram Fanclub has made a big announcement this evening. The fan club announced that Chelsea FC is going to visit the Northeast Indian State of Mizoram in April this year!
The official announcement was made on the Mizo Chelsea Fans Facebook Page. According to the announcement, the Champions League trophy will be coming to Mizoram on 8th April 2022 along with one Chelsea Legend and other Chelsea FC board members and staff, the fan club has received an official confirmation from the famed Football Club.
The announcement further states that arrangements and talks for this event have been made several times, but were delayed multiple times due to the ongoing pandemic and that it was a dream come true for fans across Mizoram.
Mizo Chelsea Supporters Club is one of the largest football fan clubs in Mizoram and is known for its charity work. The Fanclub has been rewarded 'Official 1000 Supporter Clubs' by Chelsea FC and is perhaps one of the most recognised fan clubs of Chelsea FC. In 2019, upon the request of the Fanclub, a banner of Mizo Chelsea Supporters Club was displayed by the Football Club at Stamford Bridge during a match between Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC.
This is indeed a double treat for Mizo Chelsea Fans as Chelsea FC official Facebook page just a few days ago wished the people of Mizoram a happy festive season on the occasion of Mizoram's biggest traditional festival - Chapchar Kut which made every Mizo Chelsea FC fan proud and excited. And now with the announcement of the actual Club coming all the way from UK to remote Mizoram, one can only imagine the excitement among Mizo Chelsea FC fans and every other person in Mizoram who follows football.
