The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 29, 2023, at Darbar Hall, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, with the honourable President of India presiding. Pu Joseph's recognition is a historic milestone, marking him as the first Higher Secondary School Lecturer in Mizoram to be honoured with this prestigious award. The accolade includes a Cash Award, a Citation, and a Silver Medal, symbolizing his outstanding contribution to the National Service Scheme.
