Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is closely observing the Russia- Ukraine wars says MoFA Spokesperson Abdul Qahar Balkhi
"The Islamic Emirate calls for restraint by both parties," said the ministry of Afghanistan's foreign affairs on Friday."All sides need to desist from taking positions that could intensify violence."
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the MoFA spokesperson took to social media and stated that his country was closely monitoring the Russia-Ukraine war, while condemning the invasion by Russia the spokesperson also expressed concern about the situation in Ukraine, stating that the violence could escalate, potentially resulting in civilian casualties.

The Taliban stressed its "diplomatic neutrality" and emphasised the importance of resolving the crisis through "dialogue and peaceful means." The Taliban took over Afghanistan at gunpoint a few months ago.

Apart from urging the two states to solve their problem diplomatically, like other governments, the Taliban government in Afghanistan has also urged all parties involved in the conflict to prioritise the safety of Afghan students and migrants in Ukraine.
