MLTR To Perform In Meghalaya! check Details Here

Megahlaya Michael learns to rock

Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR), a super successful Danish soft rock and pop rock band, will perform at this year's Me'gong Festival in Garo Hills in Meghalaya.

This was announced by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Friday during a musical evening organised by local bands as part of the Grassroots Music Project at Tura DC Park.

The MLTR played live in Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex in October 2005, with chartbusters such as The Actor and Sleeping Child. The MLTR will be performing in Meghalaya for the second time.

Me'gong festival is an annual winter celebration held in Meghalaya. The major goal of the Me'gong festival is to demonstrate indigenous peoples' lifestyles and dietary habits through cuisine exhibitions. Through sports, shows, and performances, the festival will also highlight traditions and cultures.

Aside from the indigenous culinary and culture attractions, the festival's inclusion of Northeast India's favourite 90s band is likely to draw a large number of attendees.
