Putin Quotes Jesus Christ to Justify His Annexation Of Ukraine Territory In A Passionate Speech

Russia Annex Ukraine territories

 Moscow 30/09/2022

On Friday, the Russian Federation held an official ceremony to mark the annexation of Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. President Vladamir Putin delivered an impassioned speech. The president condemned the West's "agenda" to corrupt the world and called the fall of the Soviet Union unfortunate while quoting Jesus Christ. According to President Putin, "Jesus Christ stated, you will know the nature of people by their fruit," and the Russian Federation values Christian and Islamic ideals.

While describing the dissolution of the Soviet Union as terrible, President Putin said in his speech that the final Soviet leader went against the will of the people by severing the country. Putin, for his part, reiterates that the Soviet Union is no longer in existence and that modern Russia does not require it.

The Russian President accused the West of attempting to "break" Russia in the same way that they did the Soviet Union. He also accused Kyiv of terrorising citizens in Donbass and other Russian-occupied territories. He claimed that they were massacred and shelled by the Kyiv regime. President Putin also criticised the west's "Neoliberal" movement and asked whether Russians would prefer to have "Parent Number 1 and Parent Number 2" instead of mothers and fathers. He also accused the west of teaching their children sexual perversion and offering them to change their genders. President Putin called their takeover a "return to the motherland," claiming that the people of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson chose to join Russia because of their shared national history. Despite the obstacles, they have maintained their affection for Russia, he said. In his speech to the Kyiv regime and its "western masters," Putin announced that the inhabitants of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson had now become Russians for all time. He signed annexation treaties with separatist leaders from the annexed territories.

The Russian president urged Ukraine to halt hostilities and hold talks with Moscow but reiterated that the status of annexed territory would not be discussed. As prominent Russian MPs and dignitaries looked on, Putin was joined by Moscow-backed rebel leaders and Kremlin-appointed officials from the four regions. Preparations were underway outside the Kremlin for an evening concert and demonstration, with banners proclaiming that Russia and the newly united territories are "together forever."

The timing has been cited by Western sources as proof of the Kremlin's eagerness to consolidate Russian victories before their lines collapse further. Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has accused Moscow of also attempting to organise Ukrainians in annexed areas for the military campaign. Meanwhile, Russian officials have openly said that the newly included territories will be entitled to nuclear protection under Russia's umbrella.
