Champhai July 12, 2023: Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, Pi Shobha Karandlaje, emphasized the importance of taking steps to ensure that important Union Government schemes reach the citizens of the country and the rightful beneficiaries in full.
On Tuesday, the Union Minister of State, Pi Shobha Karandlaje, arrived in Champhai for a one-day visit. She was received by District Bawrhsap Pu James Lalrinchhana and other government officials who oversaw various government initiatives. Minister Shobha Karandlaje emphasized the need for ensuring that the rightful beneficiaries receive the Union Government's schemes in full and stressed the importance of various government departments working in harmony and tandem. She urged leaders of departments handling CSS (Central Sector Schemes) to directly communicate any concerns and needs they have to her, assuring them that she will do her best to convey their requests to the Central government. She emphasized that farmers in the country are those who feed the nation and are considered crucial by the Central Government. The Union Minister also visited various sites and initiatives related to Central Government schemes.
